Whilst she has worked with individuals and families with more complex mental health needs across her career, she also specialises in offering therapy to individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, miscarriage, loss and bereavement as they manifest in the perinatal period. In addition, she can support clients who are thinking about starting a family from conception and beyond. She has a particular interest in cultural identity and religious or other difference, as well as transgenerational trauma in the perinatal period.
Nadine is a UKCP registered Psychotherapist and Arts Psychotherapist accredited by the British Association of Art Therapy. She draws integratively on multiple models of therapy in her work such as Attachment theory, Early Childhood Development, Gestalt and Psychodynamic theory.
Nadine can also work with a client’s mental images and story using art materials as appropriate or desired. She is also accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and is HCPC registered. She is a mentor and co-ordinator for the Black African & Asian Therapy Network. She offers face-to-face sessions in Turnpike Lane and Balham, as well as phone and Skype.
